Pharmacy Managements Benefits
The pharmacy benefit of the Employer Group is managed through a Pharmacy Benefit Manager (PBM). The Pharmacy Benefit Manager provides a number of useful reports that our Medical Director can and will analyze. Integrated Plans does not charge for that. However, Integrated Plans takes this process a step further.
Our Pharmacist combines our knowledge of those members who are either chronically ill or on the cusp of chronic illness and evaluates their current pharmacy regimen with the patient’s primary care physician. Historically, this step saves the Employer Group 16% on their annual pharmacy cost. If the annual savings on a particular patient’s savings does not exceed what we bill, we will provide the service but not bill for it.
